If I was Coria...

I would be watching the tape of Nadal-Ferrer VERY closely...
Ferrer had the match, but had atrociously misplaced UEs...

Watching that match wouldn't help Coria. Nadal would beat Ferrer 6-1
6-0 next time.....

Coria just has to pray & hope for the best....

If you look at his preformance at RG last year - Coria hardly lost a> set up to the final. But once there his game crumbled when the match> became a marathon.>
In short all Nadal has to do is hang in for the first couple of sets> then he will be able to pick Coria off at his leisure.>
All this may be true. On the other hand, Coria seems to be improving with
each tournament he plays. He crumbled last year at RG when *he* fell apart,
physically and emotionally, not from any pressure from his opponent not, as
far as I could tell, from fatigue. So you can make the argument that he is
unsteady under the greatest pressure, but I don't think you have any data to
argue he cannot go the distance. As far as Nadal as his opponent... I would
say you have it exactly backwards: if Coria is able to keep the first couple
of sets close, win or lose but getting a great many balls back, there is a
good chance that fatigue and frustration would cause Nadal to slip. If that
match were to happen, and it were to go five sets, I would feel strongly
that Coria would win the fifth relatively easily

Why is that? Will he run even faster? Will he develop a power
neutralizer(tm) for Ferrer's heavy Fh?

Although, on retrospect, watching wouldn't help Coria, because, while
Coria could apply a more aggressive, coming more to the net like
Ferrer did, he doesn't have the power to force nadal into giving him
the openings Ferrer had.

While Coria had a better 'mental', 'tactical' game, Nadal had him in
the speed and power dept. Bumrooter vs Power Bumrooter, if you will.
