This can't be Clijsters' estimated ranking after making the final, surely.
You're quoting out of context. 133 is her current ranking. You have to look at the players around her.
I really can't give a precise ranking for her -- not without results from the Orange Challenger, which weren't up last I looked. (Randriantefy is playing, and she's Top 50. Tough Challenger.) But Clijsters should be just above #60.

No, this is the ranking she started out with. Robert shows her at #62 right now. I think that's about correct. If Kim wins the final tomorrow she'll climb to #38.

QF Results:
Randriantefy [1] d. Ant. Serra Zanetti [8] Cho d. Voskoboeva Pous Tio d. Castaño Schruff d. Nemeckova (Q)
Of the other seeds, all of them lost in the opening round except for Brandi, who lost in the second round.

Thank you.
This probably won't get into my rankings for today; I have to figure out how to get two events at once into my spreadsheet! But at least I can get it in my database.

I do events by week, with IW being part of Week 10 and the Orange Challenger being part of Week 11.
The only problem for you in that case would be when somebody plays a $25K/$10K and a Tour event/$50K/$75K that go on the rankings in the same week. Most of those players, of course, are ranked lower than what you worry about.

That's different. You're thinking in terms of database results (I assume), and that isn't a problem. But this is spreadsheet work. To make the results automatic, and keep the spreadsheet within bounds, requires players to have only one event per week.
I solved it by treating Orange as a qualifying event and doing the scores manually. It's not really workable if I had a lot of players to deal with -- but it *only* comes up when there is a two-week event alongside a Challenger. Might matter at Roland Garros/Surbiton. Probably not before.

But they are playing only one event per week: Indian Wells in 2005/10, and Orange in 2005/11.
Granted, I had to run the Perl script that replaces last year's results with this year's results twice, once for each of the two weeks. (I have a separate spreadsheet for each week of tournaments, and a Perl script that replaces the appropriate week in the main spreadsheet with the results from the smaller spreadsheet file.)

You miss the point: In *my* spreadsheet (built in AppleWorks, since that's the only non-Microsoft spreadsheet really available for Mac), it's not possible to run two events at once. Theoretically, I could set it up to do so -- but AppleWorks is too confined for such a task.
You want me to do this easily, convince Microsoft to sell Excel to a company with some notion of morality.

Lotus never had a Mac version for 1-2-3?
They worked on a product back in the mid-eighties. It was never really finished -- and programs from the mid-eighties won't work on a modern Mac, which uses both a different processor family and a different operating system. The only real continuity is the name "Mac."
