Awww, that stinks. I had been looking forward to this match all day.
Yeah, it's really annoying, but injury is always a risk, it can happen to any player at any time, although it's been years since Agassi has pulled out of the middle of a tournament like that. The injury doesn't soud too bad, so he should be OK for Miami.

It's a weird injury, though. I wonder if Hewitt has been working some of his Aussie voodoo again. I remember last year(?) a succession of opponents retired with sprained ankles against him, and it even bled over and got one of his doubles partners as well.

Hewitt was seen with a jar of redback spiders in his bag, so I'm thinking one of them ended up in Agassi's shoe...?

Bad news, as I really was looking forward to this match.
A real shame. I didn't think Agassi was going to get through Hewitt, but I was certainly looking forward to watching it. Hope he can play in time for Miami. -- Luke Croll ABDK FAQ: http://home.earthlink.net/~abdk-faq/faq.htm
