Obviously a career high for Jankovic. I'd have to look for the last time we had a Tier II with finalists so far separate in the rankings (yes, it's happened -- remember, *Chladkova* had a Tier II final once -- but it's rare).
It turns out there are no Challengers this week, so that's not a concern. The only thing that will affect these numbers, apart from any errors I made, is the total points Dubai awards.

Actually, I was thinking of *ratio* of rankings. This is 28:1. Safina, while ranked 44 places below Mauresmo, had only a 12:1 ratio.
