It doesn't have enough direct quotes. Wendy Grossman pointed
it out, and she's dead right. But I don't own a recording
device, so I had to do it by pen and paper.

Wendy had suggestions for how to do better next time. If there
is a next time. Don't bet on it. I enjoy sitting way back in
the stands a lot more. :-)

 Robert,

That's a good point. Wendy G and you know best when it comes to these
things I guess. At least now you know that Anne and her coach don't bit
LOL so the next interview might be easier!!

Hi to Wendy G....

Cheers,

SLICK

Sometimes in life we have to push ourselves a bit. Good job, Robert!

You may not have used quotation marks in your interview, but you were the
first writer to accurately present Anne's answers.
Both of us also appreciate your insightful comments in your Executive
Summaries.
Keep up the great work! We hope to see you again.

Oh, I always have suggestions for how other people should improve. :)

But I *do* think you should do these things -- it really is better to ask
people stuff than to speculate about what they might think/do.

Does Anne plan to come to the UK for any of the tournaments this summer?

 Hi Wendy,
Anne is hoping to play at Wimbledon again this year. She has played in the
35 & over Women's Doubles event the last two years.
She will be training for the next six weeks to prepare for her next
singles event in April.

Sure. I will probably be at Eastbourne and maybe a couple of other things
beforehand, though I don't usually get to Wimbledon. I don't actually live
too far from the tournament.

Eastbourne could also be a possibility. You never know. :-)
I do have a great news. Anne has been hired by the new Boston Lobsters
World TeamTennis franchise to be their coach. The season starts right
after Wimbledon.
