Thought Micheal Stich lead against 13 different slam winners is amazing?
check this one out.
Ivan Lendl's winning/tie head-head records:
Vs Arthur Ashe 1-0 Vs Ilie Nastase 1-0 vs Jimmy Connors 22-13 vs Manuel Orantes 3-0 vs Mark Edmondson 2-0 vs Adriano Panatta 2-1 vs Roscoe Tanner 3-2 vs Guillermo Vilas 10-5 vs Vitas Gerulaitis 3-3 vs John McEnroe 21-15 vs Brian Teacher 9-1 vs Johan Kriek 10-0 vs Yannick Noah 11-7 vs Mats Wilander 15-7 vs Boris Becker 11-10 vs Pat Cash 5-3 vs Michael Chang 5-2 vs Andres Gomez 17-2 vs Jim Courier 4-0 vs Michael Stich 6-1 vs Sergi Bruguera 1-1 vs Thomas Muster 4-1 vs Goran Ivanisevic 5-1
Ivan Lendl's losing head-head Records:

We can assume they were tied) vs Patrick Rafter 0-1 (Rafter won in 1994 - really irrelevant) vs Richard Krajicek 2-1 (both wins in 1992)

Top player = 4 slams of more>

Total 24-23 // not that great
Remove all his losses on grass.
He lost to Becker thrice in Wimbledon, Edberg twice on grass (once in AO, once in Wim), lost to Mac once in Wimbledon, once to Wilander in AO, once to Connors in Wimbledon
Also remove the losses to Sampras - he has past his peak. Remove the loss to Becker in AO 91 (past his peak again).
That means it is 24 -12 (which is excellent)
Strangely Lendl vs Vilas is 10-5 but they never met at slams (as like> Wilander never met Connors at slams)>
Comparing to Sampras (players with 4 slams or more)
Thats wrong. You should look his head-head against his won peers. Not against oldies.
vs Agassi 6-3
vs Becker 3-0 // oldy... does not count> vs Edberg 0-2 vs Wilander 1-0 // does not count> vs Federer 0-1 vs Lendl 2-0 // does not count> vs Courier 6-2 (Sampras really took some slams off from Courier as like he> did from Agassi) vs Mac 1-0 // does not count>
Total 19-8 (which is incredible)
Wins over geriatric Lendl, Wilander, McEnroe, Connors should not count. So it is 12-8 (Compare it to Lendl 24-12). Not that great.
...and comparing to Borg (4 slams or more)>
vs Connors 5-3> vs Mac 1-3> vs Vilas 3-0> vs Laver 1-0 // old Laver 75
//does not count against Laver
vs Lendl 1-0>
11-6>
...and finally for Mac>
vs Borg 3-1> vs Connors 6-3> vs Lendl 3-7> vs Wilander 2-3 !!> vs Becker 1-0> vs Edberg 1-2> vs Agassi 0-1> vs Courier 0-1>
17-18>
Mac-Vilas is 6-6 but they never played at slams...>

Maybe players work out how to play them?
spot on..and another factor, becker's style (big guy, super big hitter) was quite revolutionary in 1986; not so by early 90s..
