Norwich and Palace are pretty much out of it, but a single goal of WBA could see them through to another EPL season. Except, of course Southampton beats ManU. Or Norwich or Palace have an incredible comeback...

This is a fanastic end to the season, but a pity that three teams>> have to go down.>
It would help if I changed the points mind you. lol
..and the positions, stop scaring me here. I *really* want Norwich to stay up. OK, it looks like Norwich are 3-0 down but still going through, right????

Well, one could easily argue that all 4 deserve to go down as they are quite a bit behind the rest. Has there ever been a survivor with only 33/34/35 points before?

They are going down except all others lose (ok, WBA may draw). Which of course means they are as good as relegated.

I'm pretty angry with Portsmouth's attitude. Seem like they're willing to lose in order to send local rivals Southampton down. Haven't they dropped their best players or something?

So it's now really only between Baggies and Palace.

The others are FT, too, the Baggies stay in the league. Congrats Huw.

So WBA, the team who were bottom at Christmas, *and* bottom at the start of the day, stay up Holy....Fulham scored *SIX*. Andy Cole scored a f'n cheeky goal at the death. Norwich played good football, but their back four were atrocious. At times it looked like they were playing three back.

An amazing result, I never really thought we'd do it. While I was confident we'd beat Portsmouth, I thought it was most likely Norwich or Palace would win.
I allowed myself half a pint of weak shandy to celebrate.

The guy whose club just put additional 2 points between itself and Milan? ;)

Congratulations. Although I hoped for my favourite club Norwich, if you lose 6-0 you have no business being up there WBA has done one of the most classic Houdini acts I've seen (at least since Bradford that one season they stayed up). Sad to see Soton go down too, I hope Soton and Norwich can rebound next season.

I hope Southampton do a Coventry and stay down for a while as they haven't been anything mostly than prey for the bigger clubs.
