Who would you choose? D'Alessandro or van der Vaart?

Andres D'Alessandro seems to be quite out of favour at VW, it is said that HSV would be interested in signing him, most probably not permanent but just as a loan, though. The weird thing is that he is said to be only second choice after Rafael van der Vaart...
RvdV was in our stadium for the game on sunday, and for talks. His contract is running out after next season and we would be interested in signing him this summer... Ajax has not been approached yet, though. It is said that he is quite out of favour at Ajax at the moment, and that he suffered a serious drop of form this season - is there more behind it?
Of course both transfers seemt o me to be highly unlikely, but which player would you prefer if you could choose between both? To me A D'A seems to be the more dodgy candidate after his plethora of wee injuries, complaining about being homesick, behaving like a diva - it seems that he is doing everything in his powers to get away from VW, but doing that is not exactly a sign of a good character...

I'd choose Romeo Castelen but he would be too expensive. D'Alessandro doesn't meet height requirements for amusement parks rides, I wouldn't have him anywhere near my team.
Out of interest, what sums are being talked about?
ADA as a loan. VdV for 4-6m Euro.

6m Euro for VdV or £6m for Kleberson?> mmm' tough choice but if HSV buy Rafael then it's going to be the steal of> the summer.
It won't happen.

Liverpool have been long admirers, as have Barca but if you say your prayers at night then you never know what Santa might bring you. The reincarnation of Anthony Yeboah? Hang on, he's not dead yet is he?

At an estimated age of about 29? Surely not. ;)

29, 39 or even 49, he could still do a job for my club
I doubt that - he couldn#t run anymore in his last two years or so at HSV.
Apparently he runs a hotel in Ghana nowadays.
He occasionally sends talents to HSV for trials. One of them, Isaak Boakye, made it in Bielefeld.

By my count Leeds have had 13 strikers this season(Deane, Ricketts, Cadamateri, Joachim, Ormerod, Hulse, Moore, King, Healy, Johnson, Oster, Blake & McMaster) so one more couldn't hurt.

RvdV. A bit risky, yet worth betting on.

Which could be said for VdV as well. He lost his form as soon as Ibrahimovic moved on to a bigger stage, and rumor has it that he simply got jealous. Seems like that made him lose concentration on his job at Ajax. He was average for much of the season despite being the captain, and Koeman stripped the title off him the minute he refused to obey his order (to play at a wing position) and relegated him to the bench. Blind doesn't seem too keen on putting him back in the center of the team either. Clearly he is done at Ajax.
Did HSV invite his wife to the meeting? She's the boss. Anybody who wants him should remember that, seriously.

We did.
