Lopez, the manager who took over after Ranieri was sacked, said he made obscene gestures to him when he had the volatile player subbed. No word if an arrest is on the cards.

"MADRID, April 18 (Reuters) - Italian striker Marco Di Vaio has been excluded from Valencia's first-team squad for indiscipline, coach Antonio Lopez said on Monday.
The team's leading scorer this season was removed "because of the attitude he showed when he was substituted in yesterday's match", Lopez told a news conference in Valencia.
"I don't like taking decisions like this but they are done for the good of the team. At the moment the decision is indefinite and when he can rejoin the rest of the squad will depend on his future behaviour." [..]
