[That is so cool -- Flamengo scored in two Hemispheres!
I'm sure it's happened before, but if so, which matches? How about in Africa? Also, has there ever been an official match played on board a ship crossing the international dateline. I'm thinking a Royal Navy or similar sponsored match perhaps.

RIO DE JANEIRO, March 17 (Reuters) - Flamengo scored goals on either side of the equator to beat Ypiranga 2-0 on Wednesday and progress to the third round of the Copa Brasil.
In another match, police had to step in as rival factions of Vasco da Gama supporters fought amongst themselves during their team's 6-0 demolition of Moto Club.
The Copa Brasil is a nationwide tournament which takes the country's biggest clubs to some of the remotest corners of the nation in the earlier rounds.
Flamengo were drawn away to Ypiranga, who play in the Amazonian city of Macapa where the halfway line at the city's Zerao (Big Zero) stadium runs along the equator.
I can't offer any help on the equator question. But i can proudly boast keeping the ball up(keepy-uppy through 4 counties in England. AND in only 20 seconds approx. Alas, the counties,Lincs,Leics,Cambs, and Northants, all converge at a point just outside a village called Tinwell, near Peterborough.
