 Cheers Mark,
Another question.How was the
national teams performance in 2002 WC received in the states.I was very
suprised that they did so well. For me,next to S.Korea, their performance
quite remarkable!
Dude.

MLS just turned down $4 from Benfica for him...I would like to see him

Very promising.

I wouldn't consider him that flashy...more of a poacher type.

Some other players to keep an eye on are Taylor Twellman (47 goals in
73 matches, but production was down last season), the ageless Preki
(coming off a full season lost to injury), and Clint Mathis (returning
from an eventful but failed stint in Germany. Also interesting will be
the fate of the expansion teams, especially Chivas.

The headline I read for this said something to the effect of, "MLS
Rejects Multi-million Dollar Benfica Offer for *Beasley*"!!! Huh? The
text of the article made it clear to anyone who doesn't know to whom
Beasley is under contract, however, that Johnson was the player in
question.

I don't always consider the two qualities to be exclusive of one
another. He's definitely got some flash. He's got great ball skill and
moves, and frequently takes defenders one-on-one.

And here I was thinking Benfica might not be able to resist my $5 offer.
