L.A. Broadcast of World...WHAT HAPPENED????

Rose 20 March 2005 07:31:27
Last night ESPN said Worlds would be on Sat. night at 7:30. It's 25
after 7 and it's almost over. What the hell happened? Did they change
the schedule at the last second?

I missed all of worlds this year and I'm really, really upset. Crying
right now.

Perhaps you ran into an Eastern/Pacific time zone discrepancy.

ESPN's Web site says it will rerun World at 3 a.m. EASTERN time, early
Sunday morning. Maybe that means midnight Pacific time, in which case
you've got three and a-half hours as of this posting to get ready.

(Please don't cry!)

Well, here in the Mountain time zone the broadcast started at 5:30 p.m., so
presumably it would have been shown an hour earlier in LA. The 7:30 time
would have been for the Eastern time zone, YMMV.

I'm on EST, and the program started late, as we had to finish up the
wrestling show, I guess. ESPN seems to take schedules lightly. Now
I'm upset with myself, after waiting all evening to see Sasha, I fell
asleep right after Slute.
