They were tight as heck. And the pairs spin badly executed. In the old system they would have been held up.
I guess American's don't have the extensive coverage as Canadians of this event. I think most us Canucks are watching it right now. At least the skating fans.

No, we don't--we are back to getting screwed by our coverage again now that worlds has been relegated to the Land of ESPN. We don't begin getting coverage until Thursday night *sigh*.
Anyway, word is that Shen & Zhao are still suffering lingering effects of their injury.

To clarify it was their side by side spin with the huge distance between them and completely out of sync with one another.

Yeah for the US....Hopefully, Taneth and Ben can stay in the #2 position. Gregory and P.... are in 11th I think...it would be great if the US had 2 teams in the top 10....
I do hope the Bulgarians move up from 4th....Looks like Chait/Sakhnovski are really feeling the heat with the new judging system. I've never seen a team move up so quickly then back down...

Not to mention he almost fell out of it.
Their spins have always been weak -- it's only been the couple of years that they've managed to get them up to "average." Perhaps with the injury they haven't been able to train them properly.
