Yahoo AP article states Plushenko seen at practice earlier mainly just stroking around the rink and talking to his coach. Rumors abound at FSU that he is suffering everything from stress fracture to broken bone, to groin injury.
Whatever it is, some in Moscow have confirmed that he and coach will decide after tomorrow's practice whether or not to continue in these Championships.
Good luck, Evgeni! I hope that whatever the injury, he recorvers fully and soon!

According to the commentary on the men's qualifying round on CBC, it seems that almost all the top men, except for Lambiel, were skating injured. And Lambiel is skating an entirely new program he's only worked on for a month.
If my brain weren't numb from working 60-hour weeks for the last month, I'd remember exactly who they said was either injured or just over an injury with limited training time, but it is, so just two hours after watching the broadcast, I've already forgotten most of them.
Plushenko and Weir were definitely mentioned as skating injured. Poor Honda is out altogether. But there were more names of the skating wounded.
Maybe someone else will remember the other names.
