Cute, from a '3rd man in' whose unseen shove had as much force as Wendell's
eyballing and brush-off in response. I'd have given them both a yellow for
being idiots. Trouble was, Newby had already got a rough yellow for
ultra-mild dissent, if you could even call it that.

As for that trip attempt though ...

Yes, exactly. There was no head butt and there was no effective punch.
There may have been an attempt to punch but it didn't end up that way.
As for the head butt, I couldn't even see intent.

But there was a trip and for that he got a yellow and he should probably
have got more. There's been too much of it super12 recently.

And before all the regular buffoons get all carried way with conspiracy
theories about Australia protecting its own through the SANZAR
judiciary, just think back a couple of weeks to DW Barry. How come he
wasn't rubbed out for about 3 or 4 weeks after the Brumbies game? He
clearly should have been. Answer: the same lax process - one which
clearly doesn't discriminate about nationality. Its equally incompetent
with all nationalities.

So, criticize the process - it deserves it - but don't turn it into
something about Australia protecting their own, because the evidence is
otherwise.

I agree, when we Aussies get caught cheating, we get the same treatment
as everyone else.

You should watch it again. If Tuiali'i head butted then Sailors was twice as
bad. That said, neither was likely to cause any harm. All it shows is that
there is a glaring inconsistency between the 3 countries judiciaries - and
it needs to be sorted out by SANZAR. It is a joke and shouldn't be difficult
to resolve but I doubt this mob will bother doing anything.

cheers, aMtt

Well you shouldn't. Too much fucking mealy-mouthed beady-eyed
interference in completely inconsequential handbags these days.

Ignore it and get on with the game.

Although I don't like refs dishing out yellow cards for a handbags I
could live with it if they were consistent. If one player gets a yellow
for waving his makeup brush around then they all must or anarchy will
rule.

If wendell just pushed the other chap with his head and no damage was
caused as has been said here then even a yellow would be harsh. A butt
is a completeley differen act as different as a shove in the face with a
hand and a punch with a closefd fist. A shove with the forehead is a
crude attempt at intimidation, if you gave yellow for intimidating the
opposition some players would be sent off before the first whistle.

A trip is a proffesional foul andpotentially dangerous, a card/ban is
the correct response, assuming wendell was guilty of course.

Sorry fuckwit but I don't read every post before returning to an
offending article. It's common sense really. Should one read through a
500 post thread to see if the answer is given, then spend half an hour
looking back to see where the question is asked -OR- just reply when the
post is open? Like I said, it's common sense; probably why you don't
understand. Dry your eyes sweetheart, you got told off like the naughty
little child that you are proving yourself to be. Change your newsreader
settings and carry on, don't have a foot stamping episode. It makes you
look, well a bit young and classless really.

What a load of rubbish - why is Ben *druggie* Tune playing still then?

Because the drug testing system worked and picked up the mistake before
it became really serious.

Luckily, his use of the banned substance was correctly documented and
reported to the Drug testing agency ... who quickly pointed out the
QRU's Doctor's mistake.

Fortunate that an unnecessary tragedy was avoided, don't you think?
