the refereeing is favouring the tahs ( the ref is playing a short > advantage this game )>
if the tahs keep making as many simple errors then they will end up losing
certainly a one-eyed ref!!!! pathetic..
anyhow, could not get over the cockyness of boof Rogers before the game, I'll be back next week
Well Hewat has played a blinder just like the last 3 matches. Why bother bringing back a hollywood hasbeen ex league boof nut to replace some young talent that is showing what waratah can really do. Keep Hewat at full back!! lose the tosser.
Good to see Lote singlehandled give a try to the bulls, and then later absolutely toss away an easy try as he did a fancy one handed put down past the goal line and lose it!!!!! He cringed everytime the crowd gasp on the replay on the screen. Surely this is not possible in professional rugby

and to top that off, Hewat has score a record number of points for the Tahs in a single game.
poor Lote will get a few smacks round the head over a beer with teammates... gotta laugh.

Hewat has a done a great job but Rogers is a class above him. Only problem with Rogers is that he is injury prone. Hewat will move back to the wing but I wouldn't be surprised to see Rogers put there>

Lote didnt have a great game and I am sure he will hear about those tries all year. I bet Wendell has already started texting him. Anyway I am glad he made the mistakes in this match .
Anyway I can see you have something against ex-league players but I reckon you are in the minority.
We have won 5 games but none of those teams have a chance of making the finals

Back three, however organised will be Hewat, Rogers, Tuqiri. I'm trying to imagine what a class above Hewat is. Roff's cool + Latham's heft + Rogers' step & swerve + Burke's goalkicking ain't a bad combination.

A timely reminder that gifts are no excuse for over-confidence. A one-man 10-14 point turnaround.

Yes. The table is a striking distortion at this stage. Is there a stats guy willing to essay a weighted-for-opposition-played table? Are there already algorithms?
All the same, I like it that the Tahs have true depth this year. Some teams would kill to be able to put these guys into their run-on 15: 2 - one of Cannon/Freier, 1 - Hardy, 4 - one of Kanaar/Harrison, 6 - two of Palu/Elsom/Hoiles, 14 - one of Mafi/Shepherd, 10 - two of Mackay/Berne/Donnelly, 12 - one of Berne/Grey, 13 - one of Turinui/Jacobs, 15 - one of Rogers/Hewat/Shepherd.

The table at the bottom is based on all-time data, and probably better reflects the long-run strength of the teams. The top table (season-to-date data) still pretty much follows the S12 points table.
Should also point out it doesn't include the most recent week's games yet. I will post it again here when updated (most likely tonight/tomorrow).
