With the exception of France at 2 - I don't think this is that far away right now. I expect Wales to progress over the next twelve months, but consistency is the name of the game. France's recent losses to Argentina, Wales, and NZ certainly makes a mockery of their position in the rankings. The historical perspective is all well and good as long as the viewer realises that is an ingredient. If the reader tries to glean some current truth from the rankings then surely they will be disapointed.

True. Wales are below three teams who they beat last time out. As you> say, this order is probably roughly fair on a "weighted" basis, but> I'd expect fairly major reshuffling in the coming year or so.
