I saw Wigan Bradford - well done the Bulls for coming back to win, but I think in the end I was quite dissapointed. Bear in mind I dont have a history of hating Wigan or anything - but it seemed that Bradford won because Wigan fell apart rather than anything great that Bradford actually did.
Perhaps these two teams will struggle this year? Seeing Wakefield, Huddersfield, Leeds etc was much better than these tonight. Be clear, I enjoy watching the game played well, I just didnt feel it had it tonight.
Is it just me, or did anyone else notice Steveo & Phil Clark's 180 degree> turn on Bradford's ability? They were slagging the Bulls for the whole> game, but praising them in the summary.>

Certainly did, Eddie said that coach Noble could take something out of the second half Stevo disagreed then 10 minutes later he said something along the same lines, talk about a u-turn. The man is definately for turning he will end up dizzy by the end of the season. ersms
I thought Wigan actually ran out of men as well as steam. The Bulls had Peacock ( my MOTM) and Harris playing at maximum , and the introduction of Paul swung it at the end. Giving MOTM to Dennis Moran probably ensured Bully pinched it at the end. And what a great kick under pressure by Deacon to clinch it. My Mrs asked how old he is , because he looks about 14. I may have misheard Stevo ( and I paraphrase " It's like Kris Radlinski is in a Pope Mobile - no one can get near him.!"
Did I mis hear? If not I will have to add it to my Stevo Collection.
I actually thought it was a great game and thoroughly enjoyed it. We are having some real strange results this term - all the better for mine!

No, you heard it correctly. Classic Stevo.

I thought last night's game was good but not great. We enjoyed it and it's always good to see records go, especially when it's a Yorkshire team on the winning end. Pity the Bradford fans could not make it a better atmosphere - I mean it's not a really long way from West Yorkshire to Wigan, is it?

Being a Fax supporter I was gutted for the Wigan youngsters.
As a Hull and Wakefield supporter I was too, but I reckon the future for Wigan is secure enough in the hands of those young kids. They just need a season or two to mature, and will be aided by the return of the likes of Carney & Farrell.

After watching the demolition of Widnes by the Rhinos yesterday the one Viking that stood out head and shoulders above the others was Mick Cassidy. If he'd been playing on Friday night for Wigan there would've been no chance of Bradford winning. His tackling was awesome yesterday. He must've made nearly 50 tackles. Why did Wigan get rid of him?

I thought the same when I saw Hodgeson and Robinson playing for Leigh. Delighted to see them back but a bit puzzled.
