Hard to believe that Hull FC and Bradford were locked at 8-8
with only quarter of an hour left, yet the result was 24-8 to
Bradford.
The other game tonight was a bit of an upset for most of us,
with Huddersfield who had only just beaten Saints, unable
to contain the Catalans.
At this early stage of the round, Ian Stewart is setting the
pace with 8 points, with most of us hovering around the
zero mark !
Never mind tho, still another four games to go!

Stupidly let my IndividualNewsNet subscription lapse, just as my old
Blueyonder news server changed over to VirginMedia news server...
and quite a few tips seem to be missing.
I know that Ken Wood at least, has had problems posting to the
newsgroup using VirginMedia, so I wonder if anyone else is having
problems? Please feel free to email either myself or WirralSaint
directly, if you`re having problems
Talking of WirralSaint though....I don`t think he`s been receiving
my emails for the last week! Certainly in his last email to me today,
it`s obvious he hadn`t received the email tips I`d forwarded to him

| | Congratulations to MancKevin who correctly tipped today`s draw
between HullKR and Huddersfield, gaining 7 much needed points
for himself!
For the rest of us though, that draw was a bleedin` nuisance,
contributing as it did to one of the lowest-scoring rounds for a long
time.
***TIPSTER of t`WEEK*** award goes to MARK RAYNOR
on 12points, thanks of course to his two correct margins on
Friday night.
The Magician also scored 12 points, but since I can`t afford
the postage to Dubai, he`ll have to make do with runner-up.
Biggest gainers in this week`s Ladder were Scully13, and
also The Magician. Joe Average surprisingly also did
quite well....and the Bookies have also found their feet,
but this week`s round did nothing whatsoever to help
sort out the mid-table congestion.
Maybe next week will be easier!

It`s pretty grim for most of us this weekend, and I don`t just
mean the weather, which has resulted in precious few tries in
the first three of this weekend`s games....I mean that most
of us have precious few points, after Harlequin`s surprise
win against Wire, and Hull FC`s even-more-surprise draw
with Catalans.
The weather must surely have been a lot better in the South
of France, with Catalans and Hull enjoying a real old-
fashioned ding-dong!
Anyways, with two games left, Mark Raynor is still way
out in front with 11 points, and about 16 of us are still
in Minusland!

Don't tell me that football is actually getting a backbone now and following the lead of Rugby by sending players off for mouthing off to an official. Bet its just a one off though and the ref will be dropped from the premiership matches.
In all seriousness I'm amazed they haven't copped onto this sooner.
Mascherano was an absolute disgrace and no doubt should have been given the
boot the first time he told the ref where he thought he should go.
Here's hoping the premier league pull the finger out if they want to be
taken seriously as a real football league.

And there was me thinking that this round wouldn`t be as "interesting"
as Good Friday`s !
Silly me....Saints go and lose to Huddersfield, Cas give Wire a
helluva scare, Wakefield almost manage a fight-back in the
South of France....and Hull KR almost repeat their feat of last
season, taking the lead at the JJB with about 10 minutes to
go....only to succumb to a late penalty and an even later try!
Quite a day.
Biggest surprise was this week`s ***TIPSTER of t`Week***
....CRAIG MURRAY
with an amazing 19 points, largely on the back of two correct
margins, especially the one at Huddersfield! (the swine. Mind
you I`ve got my own back - took him to Yorkshire today, and
left him there)
A mention for Tom Kitching, who also got two correct margins,
ending up on 16pts...3 better than his father, who now shares
the lead in the Ladder, with Saint Dave.
But although those two now lead the Ladder, the chasing pack
is getting larger and larger, with half the group now between
60 to 70 points.
It`s one of the tightest Ladders for years!

American reputation abroad means NO TRADE PARTNERS, means long term
economic DISASTER, besides the wreck the economy is in now. So you think
you can be in charge? American military reserves are far too low to
respond. They won't draft their dainty sons.
Pathetic hooligan shenanigans. Gigolos and the like.
There are 4 groups of people in life:
1. haute (high) society
2. the proletariat (working people)
3. the bourgeois (people with no class, hooligans/gigolos)
4. revolutionaries (activists)
Haute society is the group that has already worked for what is theirs.
Proletarians are the working people who aspire to be haute society, and
are in the process of working and getting there. The bourgeois are the
hooligans/gigolos who come up with “robin hood” ideas and pit the
proletariat against the haute in “get rich” schemes. Revolutionaries are
people who have grown tired of hooligans/gigolos and their shenanigans.
The earnings/rewards of work must be as respected equal to the work
itself. Haute society has already worked for what is theirs. They
deserve the dominion and pleasure of their earnings. No working man
would like his earnings taken from him, neither should the haute have
what is theirs taken from them. And the truly haute are most often very
considerate and charitable. They have class. Hooligans/gigolos on the
other hand, have no class. With what they can gather from their schemes
they “parade” and “pose” in front of working people. It is the pomp and
circumstance of this “parading” and “posing” that is the life's light of
every hooligan. Revolutionaries are put in the position to take this
light.

Still time for a few last-minute tips, but since I`ll be out tomorrow
morning, I`ll post an early summary.
Unlike Good Friday, tomorrow`s games don`t seem to be too
difficult to tip, judging by the general consensus, but of course
that`s never stopped us being wrong before!
I see the Ladder is all very close still, though the two Dave`s
....Saint and Kitching still have their noses out in front...just.
The biggest surprise, though, to me, is the poor form of the
Bookies, they`re well down the Ladder. But this week it`s
noticeable that they`re starting to copy our tips again.
