Girl wins state championship in high school wrestling

In what is at least the first I've ever heard of something like this, Michaela Hutchison's 1-0 victory over Aaron Boss in the finals at 103 pounds of the Alaska high school wrestling state championships made her the first girl ever to win a high school state title against boys. She's a sophomore and came into the tournament ranked No. 1. In lighter weight classes, a lot of girls have proven to be very competitive. Last year, 17 girls qualified for state tournament around the U.S. and one finished No. 2. Hutchison was 45-4 with 33 pins this season. So I guess that means when Russo booked Madusa to win the cruiserweight tournament, it was not lacking credibility and in fact he was a visionary.

Yep, or... Chyna managing to be a IC(?) champ as well. Madusa and Nora> "Molly Holly/Miss Madness/Mona" Greenwald would be proud of this young> lady. Good for her. Might be the next Madusa or Mona for all we know.>
