Even their web design guys can't take a break from being political for 5
minutes:

"Somebody" has to stand up for the animals that we share this planet with.

The page may be extinct, just as you soon could be, too, if you are still
loading your plate with hamburgers, cheese pizzas, and other artery-clogging
animal-based foods.

i thought i was smart until i read this.. i didnt know a cheese pizza was
animal based.

my vegetarian friend is gonna be pissed! she just had that animal based
food today!

Cheese = dairy = animal based. Vegans don't eat dairy.

Vegetarian != Vegan.

A lot of people are vegetarian for social reasons. I don't eat meats that
are "farm raised" or the product of the "meat industry". I don't eat fast
food, and don't eat any farm raised fish. I'm lucky enough that I live close
enough to the shore that I can eat freshly caught fish mostly from right
around the area. That's the only meat me or anyone in the family eats. We're
not "vegetarians" but we don't eat any "industry" meats. Mainly for health
reasons, but a lot of it has to do with a nagging social conscience about
animal cruelty. We've done good locating organic milk and free range,
organic chicken that we'll occasionally eat, but we're not vegan. I just
don't eat cheese for health reasons, and because I can't stand it. The
texture of cheese on foods makes me ill.

Vegans are a different breed of cat altogether. They don't eat *any* animal
products. I've only known one true vegan since college, and she had health
issues as a result. She was a real animal activist, and peta member, and
really had a hard on for the whole deal. She wouldn't wear anything with
leather on it, bought her shoes at certain stores, wouldn't use products
tested on animals, etc etc.

I think it's just a different mindset that goes down the peta path. I don't
begrudge it personally, because I kinda admire them for their dedication,
but they *are* kinda wacky...

Don't get me wrong. I love animals.

I love 'em baked, boiled, fried, sauteed, broiled, and grilled.

Exactly. "No animals, or animal by-products".

That fine with me - that's more meat for me to eat!

There's room for all of God's creatures, next to the mashed potatoes.

And a nice, thick leather jacket for winter.

Darn. Eggs produced for consumption aren't fertilized so it's not like
we're killing future generations of chickens. The Coneheads got it
wrong, it's not "fried chicken embryos," it's "fried chicken
menstruation."
