(Pfohl?) Worst/Least Favorite Wrestling Memory?

Curious 18 May 2005 00:22:38
It can be a death/accident, booking decision, match, change in character
direction, interaction with a wrestler/manager/promoter, etc.

And if it's Owen's death, try to include another memory, too.

Yeah, I submitted it. I think the whole point of the joke was how it made
fun of Duthty's lithp, so I didn't hold out hope that it would be picked
up...lol...

It probably would be Owen had I been watching that PPV, but in my
case, it's when Hogan came out at the end of WrestleMania 9 and ended
up with the WWE belt. Vince FINALLY had a chance to regain some
credibility, and he pulls a stunt like that.

(#2 is when some fan ran into the ring and knocked over a ladder Eddie
Guerrero was climbing during a WWE match vs. RVD in May 2002.)

Some that rank up there IMHO:

- Owen's death.

- Bagwell's on-air injury.

- Sting/Hogan's match at StarrCade '97 that started WCW's fall and
killed Bret Hart all in one fell swoop.

- Goldberg jobs to Nash via tazer at StarrCade '98.

- The Finger O' Doom.

- 3H returns unscathed one week after being dropped 40-feet in a car on
live television.

- Hayabusa's last match.

- The way wrestlers like Bret Hart, Goldberg, and Dean Malenko just sort
of disappeared without at least a big last match to go out on.
