WWE House Show Results White Plains NY
May 8, 2005

Howard Finkel opens the show by saying Rey Mysterio can't be there and we
hit our national anthem

Paul London defeated Spike Dudley to retain the WWE Cruiserweight title in a
solid opener. London wins with the 450 splash. Fans were into London

Teddy Long comes out and calls out Eddie Guerrero demanding an explanation
for attacking Rey Mysterio. Eddie comes out in a sports jacket and leather
boots. Crowd pro Eddie, until he took forever coming out and the Eddie sucks
chants began. Eddie then ran down the fans of White Plains and said that the
reason he beat up Rey was for Rey's own good. Long buying none of it said
you will wrestle tonight and your opponent is the Big Show. Match was short
with Show winning via DQ after Eddie kicked Show in the groin

Heidenreich defeated Rene Dupree via sidewalk slam and after the match used
the French Flag as toilet paper.

Howard Finkel announced the ECW PPV on June 12th.

Carlito Caribbean Cool defeated Nunzio with a roll up

Booker T defeated Kurt Angle in match of the night via rollup. Both men got
a solid reaction and the action was back and forth. Finish was similar to
the Hartford Show.

Intermission

WWE Tag Team champions MNM defeated Holly/Haas in what was the 2nd best
match of the night. MNM looked good together, and Melina was SMOKING HOT.
Finish saw Holly go for the Alabama Slammer on Nitro, while Melina had the
ref distracted. Mercury came in gave Holly a superkick and Nitro pinned
holly. Fans really loved Haas, and were even having conversations with him
during the match.

The Diva Segment was similar to Hartford last night as Jackie, Michelle then
Joy all show their stuff, and JBL interrupts Torrie. JBL/Jordan demand
the"sk**ks" leave the ring otherwise he wont wrestle. The divas leave with
Torrie flipping off JBL. JBL does his 10 minute promo insulting White Plains
and saying how he is a wrestling God. WWE champion John Cena comes out to a
huge roar, as that's who everyone came to see.

Fink announced it was a handicap WWE title match About 5 minutes in, JBL
grabs the mic and says DQ me now, I'll see Cena at the PPV where you have to
pay 35 dollars to watch me whip his a** unlike the people here. JBL goes and
rings the Bell himself, and Cena goes and chases him down and thus double
teamed. Back and forth action with Cena winning via pinfall and retaining
the title
