	CBS news is reporting tonight was the start of the Sweeps and 2 major networks refused to air Bush's address unless it was moved up 30min. They could pre-empt their viewing schedule's to air one hour later that way. The 2 major networks were not named.

The 2 major networks were not named. Well, Fox, UPN, and WB are the only ones that could delay their "entire" schedule for the night by an hour without having it run until midnight. (Needless to say, had it been last year, or any of the six or seven before that, NBC would have all but demanded that the press conference be moved to Friday, but Joey and Friends are two different things. Note that in the Pacific time zone, UPN aired the scheduled SD episode on time, but NBC aired repeats of Joey and Will & Grace (which were pre-empted in the east) - as usual, without any warning that the schedule had been changed (I can only imagine how many phone calls KNBC got complaining that Carmen Electra wasn't on as advertised).) -- Don
