I ony hope that Chris either stays and re~news his contract or does indeed
move over, just as long as we don't lose another wrestler...

We've lost too many reently.

I wouldn't think that his health was in danger.. I mean, he is in great> shape and his recent stuff with the ladder match and Shelton Benjamin> has shown his ring skill is as sharp as ever, and his promos and sense> of humor are excellent, at least on the air.

Not by health but by sacking ie MH,Molly,Rhyno etc etc>
Hope WWE gives him a good push.... Jericho is still gold in my book.>

I hope he isn't delusional enough to think that if he were no longer
with WWE that his Fozzy career would be all that big.

Sure, he has a decent following for his band now (for someone whose
primary vocation isn't singing) but if didn't have the weekly
exposure on WWE television, he wouldn't be able to sell out tiny
bars in Bumfuck Oklahoma with a $2 cover charge.

Agreed. Played right, this could lead to a huge heel turn, or an angle> where Jericho "cares again" and gets pushed as a monster face.

I think a move back to heeldom would be a good move at this stage in his
career but it brings up the question.... will the fans buy into it? Too many
peeps, myself included, would cheer for him no matter wtf he did. Last time
I had negative vibes about him was way back in WCW when he had his feud with
Dean Malenko. Wow. That's a long time ago.

I lived through Jericho's career getting squashed by the horror that is
3H several times. I don't know if I could take it again.

Surprised no one's commented on this yet. :-)

It does? I wouldn't do it for anything less than what the top four
or five guys are making.

| "Our schedule is hardly ever normal," Jericho said. "On an easy week, we
| work Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Then we
| tape Raw on Monday and go home on Tuesday.

People with 9-5 jobs would kill for your year-round three-day
weekends. ;-)

For that matter, so would all the wrestlers in the 1970s and early
1980s that worked 350-400 shows a year (working twice on Saturdays
and twice on Sundays).

| In Jericho's case, he also plays
| gigs as the lead singer of rock band Fozzy, which leaves him with virtually

Yeah, but that's by his choice...

| "It's one of those things, where you have to make your choices. My wife is

That's because she's banging Edge behind your back.

| Of course, the time isn't always quality when you're recovering from

Geez. When you're recovering from injuries you're home 24/7 for
months. That's a perfect opportunity to spend quality time with the
wife and kids, Mr "The Glass is Half Empty".

| "If our roster were an NHL team, I'd say half of them would be on the
| disabled list," Jericho explained.

Yeah, you're dad was a pansy for not skating through his injuries
like a wrestler would.
