Ausiello over at TV Guide is reporting in his weekly column that a deal has been reached with Lena Olin to return to "Alias". And they said milking a greyhound would be easier, hey?
Olin, who will reprise her role as Sidney's mother in the series, was originally asked to make an appearance in the last series - but refused the offer. It was commonly believed she would never return to the series.
"It's something I've been trying to do for a long time," show creator J.J. Abrams says. "I was hoping all year that we would be able to pull this off, and we managed to. I have to give a lot of credit to her agents, who were incredibly helpful in making this happen, because this is certainly a story that we wanted to tell. We're really excited about it."
No doubt Ms Olin saw her latest film "Darkness" and realized her film career 'ain't all that'.
Olin returns as Irina Derevko in the 90 minute season finale of "Alias" airing on May 25th.
