-- Although Batista has never headlined a major PPV before, WWE management is very confident that he will do fine at WrestleMania. The Batista/HHH match will most likely be very heavily scripted, and not much will be left to chance due to Batista?s lack of main event expirience. However, Batista is described as very mature, he is in his late 30's now, and is said to handle himself fine in the eyes of many backstage. Batista and Triple H also get along great, they travel together and often talk wrestling with each other.
-- Despite Randy Orton wanting to stay face, and actually begging management to keep him face, he was still getting booed a bit from the live crowds. It doesn't look like management has any plans to turn Undertaker heel against Orton, so Orton will most likely just have to accept the fact that the crowd is booing him. There are also rumors that Orton may go over to the Smackdown brand as a heel, which would open doors for a feud between him and John Cena.

Notice how Orton was delivering the Undertaker lines straight...without a Heel delivery, no doubt in hopes that he can maintain some fan support against UT.

Good for Batista and good for the WWE for recognizing this.

See what happens when you try and hotshot young, relatively inexperienced people into the main event? Lesnar got a big head too, but at least he was over with the crowds.

What?!? Putting someone into the main event at the major PPV of the year who has never headlined a PPV before and has "lack of main event experience"? (And what a surprise that travelling with HHH and talking wrestling with him seem to be adequate qualifications for headlining Wrestlemania.)

Batista is the same age as Lance Storm, who has been in the biz for like 17 years or whatever.

I expect a lot of interference from Flair to compensate for this match. If this match is gonna go for more than 20 mins then I see lots of headlocks, chinlocks and leglocks to waste time. Somebody's going through the spanish table that's for sure!>

Why would Orton want to be face? Being a heel is so much cooler.
