-Declaring U2 to be sucky starting with "Achtung Baby" or shortly
thereafter would itself be rather accurate..

Yep, I'm not too positive with Neil Diamond either. Wish I knew how he came

heard it.>

It sucks. Tom Jones is a cheezy, sleazy, talentless, boring
old douchebag. For my song I liked by band I hate, there's
Green Day's recent offgassing, "American Idiot".

'Jesus of Suburbia' (on the same album) is similar, but better IMO...

You're giving yourself way too much credit. You're nothing special,

Funny isn't that, the conviction that one is somehow
"special"? Go to your job. You're a fucking replaceable cog
in the machine. Walk down the street. You're just one more
in a faceless mass. There's nothing special about you, nor
anyone else, either. It's really amazing how people can hold
this conviction of "specialness" despite the evidence all
around them in their daily lives. There's billions of us
swarming all over the place. Can you think of anything else
they've got more than a billion units of in stock that'll
set you back more than a fiver?

 But to what point?

Are you trying to make a statement that is broader than "I'm scary!" or
"oooh don't I look cool in my retro duds?"

The kids in the Bromley contingent were at least reacting to what they
saw happening in their neighborhoods.. and were somewhat origional
about it...

Don't get me wrong I'm all for people doing what ever the hell they
want as a form of expression. And there is no doubt that there is lots
going on to react to.. just try to express something more profound than
"Hey look at me..."
