IMPACT! TO AIR IN EUROPE, MIDDLE EAST & MALAYSIA
Nashville, TN (March 1, 2005) – TNA Entertainment, LLC announced today that Total Nonstop Action Wrestling "iMPACT!" will air on Eurosport in Europe, plus Fox Sports Middle East, and in Malaysia on Channel 8.
"The international distribution of our flagship show 'iMPACT!' continues to grow rapidly," said Frank Romano, COO TNA Entertainment. "We are very excited to introduce to these traditionally strong wrestling markets our unique brand of professional wrestling."
Europsport Television is airing two special episodes of "iMPACT!" which are available across Europe, reaching 54 countries in 95 million homes with an estimated viewing audience of 250 million.
Fox Sports Middle East (FSME) has begun airing "iMPACT!" on Fridays and is available in approximately 26 countries throughout the Middle East plus North and Central Africa.
Channel 8 in Malaysia will begin airing "iMPACT!" shortly. A cutting edge station in Malaysia, their other programming includes NBA Basketball, American Idol, The Apprentice, Friends and many other popular American shows.
