On Chicagowrestling.com I've gotten quite vocal on a claim that's so blanantly absurd that I couldn't let it go unchallenged. Despite the broken leg that Candido suffered at TNA's PPV, the promoters of NWA Midwest claim he's gonna defend his NWA Midwest title on May 7th against Danny Daniels according to Candido himself. First off, a broken leg held together with steel plates is NOT GONNA HEAL IN TWO WEEKS. Realistically, it's gonna take eight to twelve. He can run a training session, he can cut a promo, but actually wrestle a match? No way. Unless he's pulled one of the biggest kayfabe stunts ever where he made just about the entire internet wrestling community believe he broke his leg and had surgery when he was never hurt at all, someone EXPLAIN to me how one is gonna wrestle with a broken leg.
Candido could pull a stunt to have someone defend the belt FOR HIM, but that's not the right thing here.
