Tonight could very likely draw the highest ratings of the year for Raw as well as the record ratings for Ultimate Fighter. Raw will climax after 11 p.m. with Batista making his decision. If it was me, I'd have him pick Smackdown, and then shoot an angle next week for him to change his mind. From last night's show, the impression you get is he's picking Raw, and then the tease for Smackdown is that the board may then fire Teddy Long as G.M. of Smackdown due to Carlito's politicking and him botching up the Batista deal. Chris Masters also debuts on tonight's Raw doing an updated Rick Rude gimmick. I feel sorry for him, because most who has been given a character to copy successful 80s gimmicks (Rockabilly, Sean "Mr. Perfect" Stasiak, Tiger Ali Singh as the Million Dollar Man) haven't exactly been huge successes.
