CHILE: morrison .. he is perfect. most entertaining. undertaker versus edge was great feud and match and draw. in my opinion , i think undertaker is steady seller. awesome.
PERSUS: I love chris jericho. one of best heel of all time.
BRIAN HENKE: 2008 will be remembered as the year wrestling attempted to get its feet back after the Benoit tragedy. However, with a lack of new stars, a slumping economy and a lot of other things (ie, I couldn't watch Raw Sept. 15 due to a devastating windstorm that hit the area the day before) happening, Raw's ratings are down, Smackdown is down (albeit it moved to MyNetworkTV), PPV buyrates are down, WWE stock is down - but WWE still is part of many people's lives.
CRIMEFIGHTER: Well my advice as to increase participation in these awards by posting this on Myspace has not been heeded. People will spend hours filling out surveys on what's stuck between their teeth or toothpaste they use but someone doesn't want to spend the time posting a simple Myspace bulletin encouraging people to fill out THIS survey...and we wonder why there's less than 25 people doing this thing. Critics of these awards say RSPW is completely irrelevent, people use message boards and not newsgroups, and therefore the RSPW awards are considered has-beens. Sadly there's no general public voting on any of the wrestling news site awards that are done, this is it, and no one seems to care. So why are these awards still being held if no one cares to participate and the people holding it don't do anything to promote it? As for the wrestling product, TNA is stagnant and has had no ratings growth at all for an entire year despite the increase to two hours. PPV sales hasn't improved much either averaging 27,500 buys a show. Vinnie Mac fears ANY competition coming from anywhere even if it has no chance of being a threat. WWE hasn't really gotten any more entertaining, in fact the first half of this year I had believed the TV product was at an all time low. The shakeup in the title holders after Wrestlemania such as CM Punk and Kofi Kingston winning titles helped get some interest back though at this time the usual suspects are holding the belts again. WWE remains in the position of the "Microsoft of Wrestling" but they don't care if the TV product is crap more than half the time.
