"History appears poised to confirm what most Americans today have decided: that the decision to invade Iraq was a serious strategic blunder. No one, including me, can know with absolute certainty how the war will be viewed decades from now when we can more fully understand its impact. What I do know is that war should only be waged when necessary, and the Iraq war was not necessary."

I say, God bless Scott McClellan for living in a country where he can
pen his thoughts.
So far, the consensus that I've heard from both the left and the right
is that McClellan isn't very credible - a lot of the items he
references in his book he wouldn't have had access to because of his
position - to me, it sounds like someone trying to ca$h in on the
sinking ship that is the Administration - the whole Valerie Plame
thing; I mean ... good Lord.
but you know what - its his right to write a book, and the public can
decide on the veracity of it.
I love how the very same man who was just "a mouthpiece for the Bush administration" and not to be trusted will now be proclaimed by the exact same people to have the credibility of God himself!
Oh, right, they don't believe, do they? Umm... the credibility of... oh... Ockmydinnerchad then. He seems a trustworthy chap.

Thank you for your opinions or foreign relations and war, Mr. Secretary of Defense ... OOPS!
McClellan has at least 10 hit-die on his Backstab.
