I talked to him last night and besides having an extreme case of kidney
stones on top of his cancer he's in decent spirits. I suggest that if
anyone wants to talk to George that they call him soon. He's taken charge
of his situation admirably and getting things cleaned up so his children
won't have to take care of much when he's gone. I'm thankful that he's had
Mary and good neighbors to take him to the doctors. He's been an awesome
friend to me and I'm sure that if the rest of you guys had actually ever met
him in person you'd see how nice he is and his sincere desire to help
others. He may present a grizzly bear exterior via the keyboard but, you
don't have to look very deep to see the the teddy bear interior within the
man. I know that his heart is right with the Lord and if I make it to
Heaven, George's face will be the second one I want to see after I am
reunited with my recently departed grandmother who raised me. I'm going
riding this afternoon and I don't think I will ever ride again without
thinking of George. GOD Bless you my dear friend.

One doctor's prediction has already passed I believe and I hope they are all
wrong. I wish that everyone would pray for George.

You might be surprised how often doctors can be wrong, and how
wrong they can be. I just had breakfast with a man who is over
twenty years past the age the doctors gave him, and who fathered
children after the chemo and rady therapy was supposed to have
made that impossible. *Doctors can't measure the will to live.*
When a supposedly terminal patient has that in abundance, you
would be wise the 'bet the over' on any of their predictions.

If George were taking chemo treatments to combat the cancer it might give
him a chance but, he's refusing to go that route.
