Don't do it. I once turned a perfectly good wave board into a 20lbs dog because I had a similar idea. It may work, but the benefits will probably hardly offset the extra weight.
Not that it answers your question, but ... Buy a user board with similar outline and straight rocker behind the mast track. Prolly 2-300$ ?
"Tape-on wedge" - the visuals bring forthe a Jeff Foxworthy kind of solution - or maybe Red Green, if you know his philosophy.

Not even a clue. The fragility factor was the first thing that occurred to me.
