I know this is the right thing to do, but the male ego in me wants to keep up with the 6' 3" guy that can hit his driver 280yards...(and a hdcp of 11)
Once I get past this ego thing, I think I will do a lot better
As of today is swing at 60-70%>
Had a stellar round this pm with this as my only thought. Forget>about killing ball, just keep it in fairway at all costs!!!! And an>easy swing, still gets you some distance....more than you would think.>
Bogies and pars never came easier than they did today. Just keep the>dang ball in play and half your battle is over!>

Did that with great success yesterday. Played again today with the same thought, and really stunk it up! Tale of two days.
I believe I read somewhere that your best game ever will be followed by your worse game ever. Had my best game ever this past Sat. Slowed down my swing, just kept the ball in the fairway most of the time, and came in second in my foursome. first time ever. Can't wait for this weekend to see if that theory i mentioned above is true. Oh what the hell, as long as I have fun, it doesn't really matter.........
It's not how many times we have tried and failed that matter, but whether we tried at all. TOM G
