Yesterday, had a hole in one. The ball hit the coffee table, bounced against the tv stand, ran across the rug, bumped the other ball on the rug and then ...........
i am most of the time a lurker to this ng. i have been playing for most of my life. i hit my first hole in one yesterday...thursday at williams creek in knoxville, tn. par 3 133 slightly uphill with a trap to the center left. the hole was to the left of the trap. the ball hit on the fringe and took a short hop and rolled into the hole. i finished the day with a 67....yes it is a par 3 course. i usually shoot from 85 to 90. i shot 87 at river trace in greeneville on monday.

Congratulations. Pretty fun stuff ... right?
I had my 3rd HIO just last week. They've all been at a shorty par-3 course that I plat at occasionally, but the last one was a respectable 130 yards into a stiff breeze. I thought the guy I was playing with was gonna have a heart attack ... he was way more excited about it than me 8^).

I know how you feel! Mine was April 15th, just 8 days before my 61st birthday. Of course it was only 128 yards to an upside down pan of a green. Congratulations. I hear there is a par 3 course about 60 miles from here. Gotta try it sometime.
