Played Bushwood (www.bushwoodgolf.com) today. On the driving range I thought birds were dive bombing me until I realised it was hail. Bogeyed the first two holes and we were left as a walking twosome as everyone else headed back to the clubhouse with the increasing rain. Not only rain but snow too. Par (par-4), par (short par-4), par (par-5), bogey (par-4, 3-putt), par(long par-4) but just walked the last 2 holes as I couldn't feel my fingers any more. Got a rain-check for back 9. Was so glad I had a towel, dry spare pants and socks in the car.
The RSG tip "Putting with loft" really worked well. Thanks.
I was also trying out a new driver that my wife bought me for my birthday. She got it from a surplus/overstock store in Coburg for $35 and a new putter for $15. Driver is "The Flame" by Dunlop, 10°, 360cc "Ti Enhanced", Aloila graphite Mid-Firm flex, and goes a mile for this recent 67 yearold Putter is a Dunlop "Vista" Model 4 and if nothing else, is a refreshing view from my old putter which I bought secondhand 25+ years ago.
