alternate scoring system

Cat Rancher 26 April 2005 02:42:09

Based on mental game:
+1 for hitting fairway
+1 for not short siding green on approach
+1 for each pre-game strategy that you follow
+1 for each pre-shot routine that you follow faithfully
+1 for each shot selection that your foursome approves of

what would yours be?

Cat Rancher (cat rancher?) posted the following question:

Can we have minus scores? :-)

+1 for every shot that you "hit down on" and took a divot.
-1 for every shot hit "fat".
-2 for every shot hit "sweeping" the ball.
+1 for every pitch shot hit while accelerating through the ball.
-2 for every pitch shot hit while decelerating through the ball.
+1 for every shot where your back foot finishes on your toe during your
follow through.
-2 for every shot where you left your weight on your back foot.
+1 for every ball mark you make and repair on the green.
