Excuse me, Lanny. Would you be quiet for a sec...there's some golf I'd like to watch here...and it's kinda distracting to have that incessant babble going on...thanks. -- Doug Main "Hard work never killed anyone. But why take the chance?" -Roy, metal worker, American Hotrod.
atleast with Miller you get cheap shots at players once in a while. Wadkins is a waste of time.

There are mute buttons that could be used. Kinda silly to complain about something that is completely within your control.

I shouldn't have to use the mute button. TV Execs should pick better people to broadcast sports.

Apparently you also shouldn't have to use your brain either. You are a bore.

I watched masters in silence at a resturant. Only problem was that they had close captioning on; I was still annoyed at the anouncers babbling on.
Well I like to hear the sounds of the crowd, the fake birds, the swish of the club etc etc..I have written to the networks to provide an announcer free feed on the Second audio channel but to date no one seems to care. They want to stuff those babbling idiots on us. So I figure maybe the majority of the viewing audience needs to hear crappy calls by Miller et al...Like watch how difficult this shot is...one in ten chances he gets it close...wow he holds it...amazing !

I too thought the bird sounds were fake, until I went to Florida just recently. They're real. Exact same birds, all over the place, and just exactly that loud and persistent.
Unless, of course, I was playing on a TV set....hmmm....never thought of that....

Yeah I thought that was pretty bad too. 13 and 15 are preety easy birdie holes for good players with their 'A' wedge game. No need to worry about getting on in 2, just play to the perfect wedge distance. Phil needed to eagle those holes, not Tiger and Chris.
