I took the 5 day Club Fitting and Building Course from Golfworks in March of 2002. When you take that course, they offer a 10% discount on all tools, supplies, everything. I bought a laser frequency meter, as well as all the other things essential for my shop. Well, here in Orlando, it stays fairly humid for 5 or 6 months a year and I kept the meter in an un-air conditioned shop. Anyway, after 3 years, the laser stopped emitting. I emailed them and they said send it back for a repair estimate, since the warranty on electronics is only 1 year. I did that, they received it last Monday, and today I received a brand new unit via FedEx. They didn't bother emailing, negotiating, calling, they just sent me a new unit. I think I'll either air condition my shop, or look for some solid, quick release bolts and keep it in the house. They certainly have my loyalty. I can sometimes find shafts and grips locally for a better price (not by much, mind you), but when a company shows me they want to keep my future business, I perk up.
BTW, I not an employee of Golfworks and have no legal, financial, nepotistic (:)), nor any other connection.
