I'm going to Vegas for the weekend on March 31st and I want to bring my sticks. I'll be staying at Caeser's Palace and was wondering if anyone could recommend to me the best, most cost efficient places to play. Any advice at all will be helpfull because this will be my first time out there.
from Sept to April is kinda their peak season since it is not so hot. the best deals are to be had in the summer, especially in July/August. however if you are going to be there in a couple of weeks, i recommend Silverstone which can be had for about 100 or less if you can get an internet special. since this is still their expensive season, normal green fees in most vegas courses run around 150-200 - at least for the "premium courses." Ive played Bali Hai, Royal Links, Desert Pines, and Stallion Mountain. All of which are expensive. It was 100 dollars just for twilight last Thanksgiving. you can also try Angel Park. Reflection Bay is the most expensive i think at about 250-275 a round I think.
golfcourse.com should have a decent breakdown of the going rate in Vegas. Good luck.

It was an excellent course. The green fee, starting at noon, was $65 and included a cart and all the range balls you want to hit. It's a new course and they were building their clubhouse which probably accounted somewhat for the lower green fees. You also get fabulous views of the Vegas Strip and the mountains to the west of it.
