Now why didn't I think of that?
When you look at your balls you aren't thinking about the sun or shadows?
Now just hang on a minute here. You will never forget this I'm sure. And think of the all the times you will need this gem of knowlege too. 72nd hole of the US Open needing only a 4' left to right breaker to win. Or perhaps #17 with a press and $20 on the line after a couple of Miller lites at the turn......
You are now a shadow watcher............

If my memory serves me correctly, the JM gem was back in the 60's when he returned from playing in the British Open. He started a firestorm (maybe it wasn't fire?) when he remarked, "if I'm ever back in Britain, it will be because I've died and they shipped my body to the wrong place", or something to that effect. It seems the British courses and the Open, just wasn't his cup of tea. Bill
Oh no! Alert the media! Someone who broadcasts for a living may make some boo boos or say things that may be obvious for geniuses like you, but that little tidbit REMINDED viewers of something they would likely have known, just not thought of at that very moment.
You petty petty human.

The courses kicked his but, and this was him paying homage to the great British venues. Lots of folks don't get it.
Lots do.
