Today's practice I focused on tempo/rhythm and practice swing. I would perform a practice swing at the tempo/rhythm with which I wanted to hit my shot. Worked very well. There is so much difference in the quality of shots if you give yourself a chance to shift your weight.
One interesting by product was that I was able to visualize the plane of my swing. Since I could visualize it at address, nearly every shot was on line. The times where the shot would go off line were always the result of bad tempo/rhythm.
For whatever it's worth, it's beginning to feel like I can trust my swing. That's a threshold I've been trying to cross and it seems to be within sight....
