The way Liz sprayed her shots in the previous episode would make me reluctant to take her at 2-1. She reminds me of the barefoot guy from BBII. Scrappy, tough, skilled, but not skilled enough.
I really liked the "finish two holes from these locations" challenge that caused the Sarah meltdown. Probably the best challenge of the show except for the final match.
I think the women have a tendency to burn their mulligan too soon. Take the driving challenge last night for instance. I can't remember who had it, but they used it on their second drive. Why not wait until the last drive when you have had more time to dial in your swing?
I think the rule is the mulligan only replaces the previous shot not the worst of a group. Take it early or you might not be able to use it later.

On The Golf Channel Discussion Boards, I posted my original final four back in mid-February: Jan Dowling, Liz Uthoff, Sarah Sasse, and Debbie Dahmer.
Two of them are gone (Debbie and Sarah). Of my two remaining final four picks, I still like Jan to win the whole thing. -- Rick Umali rgu@TheWorld.com www.rickumali.com

Especially if the final round is say, boxing or mud wrestling.

But the real question remains: why do they keep using their mulligan after the first shot they miss? Why don't they keep it for when it is really worth something, like to save your life or on a putt?
Jan would have been better off using her mulligan on the first shot from between the trees in the elimination challenge...
I think they just don't understand the rule of the mulligan and how to best leverage it

The mulligan is not a forever get-out-of-jail card. There are three challenges:Mulligan, Skills, and Elimination The mulligan is only good in the Skills. Jan blew her shot in the Elimination.
My recollection is the Skills where the mulligans can be used have all been determined by points or distance from the pin. You have to use the mulligan to replace the first 0 points or off green shot. Saving the mulligan for the end is not a good strategy. If the last shot is a max points or in the hole, the mulligan stays in the bag.
Jan used the mulligan correctly. Her first drive missed. She immediately used the mulligan and nailed two five point drives putting pressure on the rest of the ladies
