Up next on Fox News Channel. They will repeat the show later tonight (Bill Orielly).
I am interested because of the discussion about Tom Cruise, and I don't really know what it is. I find it hard to believe it is as big of a "cult" as some people claim, but I don't really know.

Does Tom Cruise play golf? How is this golf related?

Yeah, most of the intellectuals who hypocritically call Scientology a cult, already belong to one of the largest cults in the world...........Christianity.

Anybody who follows a party line is either does not think or is doing so for professional reasons. The party lines are all compromises that have been created by committee for political reasons. None of the people who create the party lines like every feature in them - but were willing to give a little here to gain a little there.
And certainly Republicanism has some tenants that are conflicting. It used to be against a large central government (but power corrupts). Big business and family & religious values are not always in agreement. The religious right, big business right, and little business right are not at all the same place. Free market economy ideals conflict with other conservative ideals. Strict constitutionalism conflicts with keeping prisoners in Cuba so we don't have to try them. (Anything that big (The Democratic party, The Catholic Church, Communism, Patriotism), will have conflicting ideals)
Sort of like the PGA Tour which is both free enterprise and a restricted union at the same time.
Real life isn't nearly as simple and straight forward as we make it out to be.

When someone preaches his religion to me, I don't ask why his religion is right - I ask why that other religion is wrong.
