Tiger seems better at this than other top pros - with less backspin> than Phil, keeping the ball near the target.
IMHO Tiger and Phil are equally talented, but Tiger is a smarter, more effective player.

In general, I agree. But their talents are not equally distributed. My observations are that Phil has more backspin than Tiger, but has a better flop shot for instance.
And he has more practice making saves from bad tee shots.
