Agreed. I was just introducing this song to my new kid while driving home
from the hospital today. That song always makes me want to drive too fast.

 Yeah, "Charles Beauchamp" <C.E.Beauchamp@NOSPAMcomcast.net>, well...
that's just like... your opinion man.
is there a more perfect Heavy Metal song in like ever?

I had to start hating that song when Chipper Jones started using it as
his "intro".

See what I do is I don't watch the Braves games. I wasn't even aware of
that Chipper intro thing.

That 'intro' stuff should be addressed in the next collective bargaining

Another good one for that is "20,000 Feet" by Saxon.

It was until some Devil Rays prospect playing at Durham chose it for his
signature song, to be played whenever he steps into the batter's box.
Now I'm sick of it.

So what is a good GnFnR metal song?

I didn't say that Jungle was GnFnRs best song--that'd be "Estranged" or
"Coma".
But Jungle RUTSIES Crazy Train.

My view is that Ozzy and Spinal Tap have chunks of each other in their
stools.

Hell, I'm a RUSH fan and to compare them to Ozzy is to insult RUSH...

C'mon, Beauchamp--Priest was much heavier than Ozzy. Ozzy was People
Magazine Metal. Open your eyes, G!

Yeah, Tom Sawyer.

dude, i remember tom sawyer, and no one back in 81 ever considered it to be
heavy metal.

rush was never considered to be heavy metal. they were "progressive rock",
in the yes/king crimson/ELP vein...

Granted "heavy" metal has changed over the years...

They were pussies for their time and THAT says a lot. RUSH was never
considered Heavy. The only way they get into a Heavy Metal of the 70's
packet is if it is compiles by one of you doofus posters that don't know the
difference.

getting the same pimply faced virgins to throw out a few duckets every two

Sawry.

I never thought much of Iron Maiden...

I was still in my Zepp/Sabbath/ZZ Top/Ozzy/Rush mode. With a little
Judas Priest, Saxxon and a few others thrown in. Maiden just never did
it for me.
