If you're going to use the mulching blade, you gotta stay on top of the suckah. If that lawn gets much over an inch-and-a-half above optimum, you're looking at some ugly clumping.

I'm going to have the same problem tomorrow. Wish me luck....with all the rain and the fertilizing, etc., it's a jungle out there.

If you have the time - cut it twice on successive days - 1/2" off the top and then do it again. Actually looks pretty decent if you use alternate patterns.
