Republican Senators

John Rogers 20 April 2005 06:02:36
Sure do a bang-up job of doing there level best to embarrass their own
President's nominees.

Yeah, so do the Democrats... but that's there jobs.

If there was one Republican with any testosterone left in his system,
I might not feel so guilty about voting for them.

Yeah, wouldn't want to ask any tough questions of your
own party. Party loyalty is everything. The party is
mother, the party is father.

You forgot about embarrassing themselves.

It might be a good idea for Sen. Allen to take the weekend to study
up on the rules and procedures of the committee that he serves on.

I disagree - it's a lot more fun being against something than for
something. But then I'm a registered Demmycrat.

Are you talking about Mr. Suck Up Kick Down?

I suspect he was given a high level appointment in order to embarrass
the bastid.

I know it may be hard to believe, but could it be possible that in five
years of being president, and hundreds of appointments, that maybe one
or two of them may turn out be not such a good idea upon further
reflection? Or is W gonna be the first president to never make a
mistake (at least in your view)?
